#774 A Conversation with Desiree Tims, Candidate for Congress (OH-10)

By | September 9th, 2019|Podcast|

Desiree Tims was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She is a proud product of Dayton Public Schools. After graduating from Dayton Dunbar High School, Desiree later graduated from Xavier University and Georgetown Law.

Inspired by the idea of hope and change, Desiree served as a volunteer for the 2008 Obama campaign in Southwest Ohio. Desiree later worked in The White House and on Capitol Hill. It was during this time that she learned that real leadership is a sandwich made of family values, grit, and hard work.

For too long, Ohio’s 10th Congressional District has been left behind, and the new economy just isn’t working for most. Frustrated by the lack of real representation and leadership, Desiree decided to get off the sidelines and take action! Desiree believes that the American dream is a promise worth fulfilling.
