Gem City Podcast began in the Spring of 2013, has featured many different co-hosts and personalities. We’ve been able to feature uncensored conversations from all aspects of the Dayton, Ohio area.

For the vast majority of podcasts, 500 episodes never happens. There are a graveyard of five – ten episode podcasts. The fact that a group of volunteers from Dayton decided to keep this podcast going is a major feat within itself. A big thank you goes out to Mark DaGrossa, Libby Ballengee, Scott Epic, Izzy Rock, Josh Gwin, and David Sparks for keeping the podcast rolling. Much love to Eric Ruiz, who started the podcast in 2013.

This podcast features Cory D.D. Miller, a local Dayton personality, blogger, and all around great dude. He interviews Mark DaGrossa and Izzy Rock about the podcast.

“I attended The University of Dayton and finished with a BA in Psychology and a concentration within Philosophy. I have been working for C.H. Dean, LLC since 2007 (two years as an intern and then full time starting in 2009). I am currently the Corporate Relations Manager. I am extremely passionate about my job because it allows me to be a an advocate for not only our firm, but the Dayton Region. I am an active member of several local organizations such as Dayton History and the Dayton Ballet Barre. I strive to bring as much awareness to the Dayton Region as possible.”

Needing an insider’s opinion on some of Dayton’s best local and unknown spots? Looking to get involved with something, but just don’t know how or what? Don’t know as much as you thought about the city that you call home? To that I say, “Welcome, my friend, toward your first steps in becoming Socially Savvy in Dayton.
