Nestled in Fairborn, Ohio, RIND (an acronym for the bands real name, Rock Is Not Dead) are the hard rocking quintet who have embarked on a journey to prove to the world Rock music is alive and strong. Drawing influences from Led Zeppelin, Avenged Sevenfold and everything in between, RIND has focused on a vintage hard rock sound, yet they have created a style all their own. The charismatic front-man Oogie Hollow supplies catchy vocal hooks that will be certain to stick in your head, while simultaneously weaving dirty riffs and heavy guitars with the affable Prince Jeremy. To focus on other musical projects, late 2016 sadly saw the departure of the multi-talented Ryan Palcic on bass. Without hesitation, The Matador jumped aboard and quickly combined his steamrolling bass lines with Mikey Mike’s thunderous drumming, creating the driving heartbeat to what has become the foundation of the bands signature sound. The soulful touch of Jimmy Keys on the ivories compliments the dirty guitars and vocal melodies capturing the heart and soul of rockers of all genres. Since their inception in the early parts of 2016, RIND has been drawing energy and gaining traction from their dynamic live shows, thrilling audiences in Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton. Early 2017 saw the completion of their first full length album Pushing Up Daisies, enabling them to get their music to the ears of the masses. RIND is on a mission with one goal; to show the world that Rock Is Not Dead.
