YWCA Dayton is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Their vision is to lead the way for every woman to become a driving force behind her own success in a community free of racial and economic barriers.

The Dayton YWCA is one of the oldest in the country and was founded in 1870. It’s the oldest organization supporting women and children in Montgomery County. They operate the only domestic violence shelters in the area as well, including a 24-hour, year round crisis hotline and other important services.

Currently Dayton YWCA are gearing up for their 20th anniversary of their Women of Influence Awards, which will happen March 9, 2017.

YWCA is located at 141 W. Third St. Dayton, OH 45402
