Mark is a singer/songwriter from Ohio.

His small town roots are the driving force behind the inspiring lyrics and music found on his debut album, “Last Chance Johnny” and sophomore effort “Diggin’ On You”. Both albums contains 11 diverse tracks that capture the spirit, the struggle and the joys of everyday life. The Americana roots, of heavy topics and storytelling, are the foundation of Mark’s music and strongly represented on both albums. 

“Last Chance Johnny” was released on January 1st, 2012 and “Diggin’ On You” was released on January 1st, 2015. Both albums can be found and purchased on his website – Both releases are also available on all major streaming and download sites…. iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, CD Baby, XBOX Music and many more.

Mark is most often found playing solo shows but also tours with his band, a group of seasoned and talented musicians that he has branded “The Punch-Drunk Heroes”. Expect a high energy show with powerful vocals, thick harmonies and tasty guitar and harmonica when you attend a “Mark Cantwil and the Punch-Drunk Heroes” show. You can also find Mark out playing as a duo with his guitar player, Brett Mullins. 

Along with numerous festivals and club gigs, Mark has had honor and privilege of playing with some well known National acts such as Sister Hazel, Chris Knight, John Moreland, The Bacon Brothers, Mipso, The Black Lillies, Darryl Worley,Stephen Simmons, Bret Michaels, Molly Hatchet, Rik Emmett and Pat Travers. Mark has also shared the stage with some well-known National and Regional songwriters such as Wil Nance, Dan Demay, Dave Demay, Chris Cavanaugh, Corey Cox, and Greg Buroughs.
