One of most inspiring guests of all time, Miss Alanna J. Wall, spoke with Mark and Libby about her charity Polished Girlz. From Dayton Ohio, this little powerhouse has made waves nationally by regularly appearing at NY’s Fashion Week, has appeared on the hit show “Ellen”, and Disney even did a special “Make Your Mark” segment about Alanna and her charity.
Why? Well, because she’s awesome. Mostly because she’s making a real impact on sick children right here in Dayton, and now there are Polished Girlz all over the country. The Polished Girlz bring sparkle to the lives of girls with special needs or frequent hospitalizations by bringing the trendiest nail art parties to them, while teaching them the importance of hand washing to reduce infection rates and repeated hospital admissions.
As an organization, the Polished Girlz seek to empower not only their clients, but their volunteers, by offering them opportunities to improve the quality of life, build invaluable leadership skills, and providing them with opportunities for community service,
