After work at Juniper, I usually sit on a bale of hay against my cabin. Geese are constant this time of year. The rivers and lakes provide plenty of resources for them. I hear wildlife everywhere. I can’t avoid it. Absolutely would not want too. The sun is the only thing higher than the mountains, but after the day is over, the mountains take back control of the sky. The sunset here is captivating. At the moment it drops below the first mountain peak, the lower summits illuminate. No matter the weather, the Adirondacks show you something beautiful and humbling every sunset.
