M Ross Perkins is a psychedelic lo-fi recording artist from Dayton. He has been amassing a strange and provocative canon of home recordings since 2002 and was the founder and front man of two now-defunct psychedelic bands: The Esther Caulfield Orchestra and The Goodbye. After the release of his debut album in 2008, Perkins disappeared into the studio for 6 years before eventually reemerging with a record called “Goodbye,” featuring members of Buffalo Killers, Motel Beds, and Mink, among others. Though this record has been highly anticipated, Perkins has shelved its release and is currently producing a new collection of solo material on which he sings and plays drums, guitar, bass, organ, and piano.
