Reyna spent part of her childhood involved with her parent’s missionary work in Cajamarca, Peru, a city in the Andes Mountains of South America. Her family founded an orphanage for children of the local area. Her family often sang together and music was part of her everyday life as long as she can remember. In 2007, Reyna became professionally involved with music in Dayton, Ohio. She had her first paid weekly gig at the Dayton Crowne Plaza with the John Slate Trio. This was already more than a dream come true. Everything that follows is merely an extended dream state emerging into reality. Reyna performs over 200 shows a year. She is currently performing as an original artist and also is a member of several cover bands. Hear her intricate vocalizations with Dana Farley in acoustic duo, Reyna & Dana, found in many bistros and restaurants. Reyna also belts out rocking favorites with Curious Animals performing at various bars and lodges. Reyna can also be seen on the big stages of theaters and arenas in the tristate area singing background vocals for Signs of Life: The Essence of Pink Floyd. Reyna’s original compositions are influenced by multiple genres. She is an artist that creates outside the lines and finds beauty in all that surrounds her.
